• In addition to raising money to support our scholarship efforts, a primary focus of the Dallas A&M Club is to cultivate the relationships of Aggies in Dallas area. The way we do this is through our club events. We have a wide offering and hope each of you find the type of event you are looking for. As always, if you have any questions, please feel free to e-mail us! To find out about the event you're interested in just follow the link!

Description:   AGGIES FOR DALLAS VOLUNTEER EVENT

Spring is in the air...especially at the Dallas Arboretum! Please join Aggies for Dallas as we volunteer at Dallas Blooms & ArtScape.

Dallas Blooms is the largest floral festival in the south, showcasing over 500,000 spring-blooming bulbs; it is regularly on MSNBC’s top ten things to do in America in the spring. You won’t want to miss out on all of the fun!

This year, a 12’ tall Ferdinand the Bull topiary will delight guests, bringing the classic children’s tale to life. Ferdinand will be “smelling the flowers” accompanied by a honey bee topiary amongst a bed of blooming spring flowers.

ArtScape is Dallas’ most beautiful fine art show and sale in the garden; it is this weekend only.

The Aggies for Dallas volunteer group will be working with guest services as greeters, ticket takers, hospitality, etc. This year’s Dallas Blooms theme is "Fiesta de las Flores"; and we’ve been asked that all volunteers dress in black slacks and white shirts, if possible. No jeans please!
