Greenville Ave St. Patrick’s Day Parade Saturday, March 13, 2010

Location:   Greenville Ave - south of Park Ln & north of SMU Blvd
Time:   11:00AM
Price:   0.00
Description:   Due to circumstances beyond our control, the DAMC float has been sidelined for Saturday’s Greenville Ave St. Patrick’s Day Parade. Though...please still join the DAMC for revelry during and after the parade in the CVS parking lot at the corner of Greenville Ave & Park Lane.

Please join the Dallas A&M Club to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day, Dallas Style! For the third year in a row, the DAMC will be participating in the Greenville Ave. St. Patrick’s Day Parade festivities! This is one of the most fun days in the City of Dallas, and it’s even more fun to celebrate with your fellow Aggies. And there are two ways for you to participate:

1) If you would like to ride the float, please contact Holly Pritchard ’95 to sign up at hpritch95@yahoo.com. We will be entering an Aggie Fire Truck into the parade and throwing maroon beads to the crowd.

2) If you would prefer to watch the parade, please come to the CVS parking lot at the southwest corner of Lovers Ln & Greenville Ave. The DAMC will have two large maroon tents that should be easy to spot in a sea of green. The parade starts at 11:00am; but the streets will be blocked off at approximately 9:30am - so please plan to get there early! Beverages will be provided by Miller Lite as long as they last, but feel free to bring something to share.

No matter which above option you choose, the day will definitely be lots of fun! Please wear something maroon to go along with your St. Patrick’s Day green to show our presence and support for our community!

For 31 years, Greenville Avenue has been THE place to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. Billed by many as “Dallas’ version of Mardi Gras”, the Greenville Avenue St. Patrick’s Day Parade brings thousands & thousands together along the two mile route to celebrate Erin Go Braugh through outrageous floats, colorful costumes and plenty of surprises.
